Swimming has been a passion of mine since I was very young. It all started when my parents signed me up on a summer league program in Bryan, Texas. As I grew, I was intrigued with year-round competitive swimming, so I joined the USA Ags Swim Team and my high school program, Bryan High.
During college, teaching swimming and coaching swimming became a passion and that is what I did for money during college at Texas A&M Commerce. Shortly after graduating I moved to Big Spring, Texas and that is where my high school coaching career took off.
I have coached swimming all around Texas and look forward to my second year of coaching the best summer league team San Antonio has to offer… The Northern Hills Nadadores.
I have been with the Nadadores ever since I joined the team when I was 10 years old and fell in love with the team spirit and unity! When I was 15, I became a lifeguard at the pool and started teaching private and group swim lessons to children of all ages. I have been lifeguarding ever since, and now I am the pool manager.
I swam on the Madison High School swim team and was captain my junior and senior year. I loved the confidence swimming gave me and tried my best to be the best leader I could be. Currently, I go to Texas A&M University in College Station and I am pursuing my undergrad in elementary education with hopes of becoming a kindergarten teacher!
I am so excited to be a head coach this year! With 2 years of experience already being an assistant coach the past two years, I hope to keep the team spirit alive and have fun! I look forward to seeing every swimmer and their family this summer!
